Gentlemen and Ladies,
Please accept this final report on the 04 Festival.Paid attendance was down a little from last year and total attendance was down. Gross income was down, and T-shirts and entertainment increased expenses.
As with most events, the tale of the festival is told by following the money. Estimated attendance was 600. The body count is as follows:

$  8721  Net Income     Edie and I will donate $279 to make a nice round $9000 donation to charity.

The first $500 goes to Vietnam Veterans Against the War.  Their dedicated volunteers humping beer into the hall impressed all the brewers, as usual.  $528 goes to Vietnam Veterans of America #324 for my haircut and running the cash raffle.  $100 will be sent to the Extremely Reverend Dan Moeller to be donated to his favorite charity. Leaving $7872 which will be divided evenly with $3936  going to My Lai projects to be distributed as they see fit, and $3936 to the Library of Vietnam Project

Next year I hope to increase presale tickets, and the homebrew contest will be started earlier. I expect this and other efforts will increase attendance.  I am looking forward to a bigger, more successful, and hopefully more profitable festival next year.

                                    Sincerely,
