HOMEBREW JUDGING CLASSES
A. BOCK - A strong malty beer with adequate but not assertive hop bitterness.
Color from copper to dark brown. 6.25% alcohol by volume. Commercial comparison:
Augsburger Bock, Einbecker Ur-Bock.
B. DOPPELBOCK - Similar to Bock, but fuller and darker. 7.5+% alcohol by volume.
Commercial comparison: Paulaner Salvator, Celebrator Doppelbock.
C. WEIZEN BOCK - A dark wheat beer with substantial malty body and fruity
palate. 5 - 7.5% alcohol by volume. Commercial comparison: Hibernia Dunkel Weizen.

Awards
Commemorative Medallions will be given for Best of Show, as well as 1st, 2nd,
and 3rd places in each class as determined by points. Best of show will be determined
by a "taste off" of first places.
Award to the Homebrew Shop that sponsors the most entries.
Prizes will be awarded at the Milwaukee Beer Festival prior
to the Blessing of the Bock
